‍Humans of Cinema Film Fund
By submitting an application to the Humans of Cinema × Safarnaama Pictures Feature Film Co-Production Fund (“the Fund”), the applicant(s) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility1.1 The applicant must be above 18 years of age at the time of submission.
1.2 The applicant must be an Indian citizen holding a valid Indian passport. Applicants residing outside India are eligible to apply, provided they hold Indian citizenship.
1.3 Applicants may submit only original feature film projects. The submitted work must be the applicant’s own creation and should not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. Adaptations are permitted only if the applicant has secured the necessary rights.
1.4 Projects must be in the development, scripting, packaging, or early production stage. Projects that have already secured full financing are not eligible.
1.5 Applicants are permitted to submit multiple projects, provided that each project is submitted as a separate entry and is accompanied by all required documentation.
1.6 Eligibility is limited to scripts that have been duly registered with a recognized authority, including but not limited to the Screenwriters Association of India (SWA), Writers Guild of America (WGA), or an official Copyright Office.
1.7 The applicant agrees that he/she/they are fully authorized to make this application and are not under any disability whether legal or contractual which prevents them from submitting this application. 
1.8 In case of a team submission, the applicant confirms that they have obtained consent from all collaborators and are authorized to submit the project on behalf of the team.
1.9 All fees paid towards the application are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of application status, including withdrawal, rejection, or disqualification at any stage.
‍2. Selection Process2.1 All submitted projects shall be evaluated by an internal team and/or external jury constituted by Humans of Cinema, at their sole discretion.
2.2 The selection decisions of the jury shall be final, conclusive, and binding on all applicants. No correspondence or discussion regarding the outcome shall be entertained.
2.3 The Fund is under no obligation to provide feedback, evaluation scores, assessment details, or reasons for selection or non-selection of any project.
2.4 The Fund reserves the right to amend, modify, suspend, or withdraw the selection process, evaluation methodology, eligibility interpretation, or jury composition at any stage, without prior notice and without any liability whatsoever.
2.5 The Fund reserves the right to disqualify any application at any stage if it is found to be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, in violation of these Terms & Conditions, or otherwise non-compliant with the eligibility criteria.
2.6 Completion and submission of an application shall not entitle the applicant to any form of compensation, monetary or otherwise, from Humans of Cinema, Safarnaama Pictures, or any affiliated entity associated with the Fund, under any circumstances whatsoever.

3. Funding & Co-Production Support 3.1 Selected projects may, at the sole discretion of Humans of Cinema, receive one or more forms of support, including but not limited to financial assistance, mentorship, development support, industry networking access, and/or co-production opportunities. The nature and scope of such support shall vary depending on the edition of the Fund.
3.2 The quantum, structure, mode, and timeline of any support provided under the Fund shall be determined exclusively by Humans of Cinema and Safarnaama Pictures, and such determination shall be final and binding. 
3.3 Any selected project receiving financial or production support shall be required to enter into a separate legally binding agreement.
3.4 The Fund reserves the right to withhold, suspend, or withdraw any form of support at any stage in the event of misrepresentation, provision of false or misleading information, misconduct, breach of these Terms & Conditions or any separate agreement, or arising legal, regulatory, or contractual complications.
4. Use of Submitted Materials
4.1 By submitting an application, the applicant grants Humans of Cinema & Safarnaama Pictures a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to access, review, and internally use the submitted materials solely for the purpose of evaluation of the application under the Fund.
4.2 In the event a project is selected, the applicant may grant Humans of Cinema the right to use the project name, logline, synopsis, excerpts, and/or related promotional materials for the purpose of announcing, publicising, or promoting the Fund, its outcomes, and associated initiatives, subject to applicable agreements executed with the selected applicant.
4.3 Except as expressly stated in these Terms & Conditions or in any separate agreement executed between the parties, no ownership, copyright, or intellectual property rights in the submitted materials shall be transferred to Humans of Cinema or Safarnaama Pictures by virtue of submission alone.
4.4 All submitted materials shall be treated as confidential and shall be accessible only to authorised personnel of Humans of Cinema, jury members, and designated partners involved in the evaluation and administration of the Fund. The organisers shall take reasonable precautions to protect the confidentiality of submissions. However, they shall not be liable for any unauthorised disclosure, except where such disclosure is directly caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

5. Code of Conduct5.1 Applicants shall maintain professional, respectful, and lawful conduct in all communications and interactions with Humans of Cinema, Safarnaama Pictures, jury members, mentors, and any representatives associated with the Fund throughout the application, selection, and mentorship process.
5.2  Any form of harassment, discrimination, abusive behaviour, plagiarism, misrepresentation, or submission of false or misleading information may result in immediate disqualification at the sole discretion of the organisers, without any liability or obligation to provide notice or explanation.

6. Liability6.1 Under no circumstances shall Humans of Cinema, or any of their respective affiliates, directors, employees, or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with participation in the Fund.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
7.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
7.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions, or participation in the Fund, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.

Your Responsibility for Your Account:You agree to provide us your real name and valid email address in connection with your registration for Film Club Membership. You agree to take no action that alters or impairs our technology or service or that harms or detracts from the community of users of our website, app or services. You agree that we have the right to take any action (including termination of the license to our website, app or the privilege of access to our digital subscription) against persons whose actions, in our sole opinion, detract from the service or the community of persons using the service.​PAYMENT POLICY​This page provides the terms of sale and purchase for the Film Club Membership offered by Humans Of Cinema Media ("Humans of Cinema" or "we" or "us").​GENERAL TERMS OF SALE​1.1. About Digital Products​You can review the various Film Club Membership Options here.Humans Of Cinema reserves the right to modify the terms, content, type, and availability of any digital subscription at any time.​1.2. Processing and Payment​Humans Of Cinema will process your purchase as promptly as possible. There may be a delay in the activation of your membership while payment details are verified.​We reserve the right to reject any order or purchase at any time.​If your initial payment authorisation is later revoked, your membership will be terminated. Contact our Customer Care if you believe your access was terminated in error.​1.3. Pricing​When you pay for a film club membership, you agree to pay the price that is set for that particular membership. You also agree to the billing frequency stated at the time of your order.​Discount eligibility is determined at the time of the order. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.​All prices are in Indian Rupees and United States Dollars, unless otherwise stated.​Humans Of Cinema reserves the right to change prices and fees at any time. We are not able to notify you in advance of changes in applicable taxes.​1.4. Billing​1.4.1. Billing of Film Club Memberships​We will charge or debit your payment method at the beginning of your membership. Billing will continue according to the cycle stated at the time of your order.​We will send you payment reminders via email and phone to renew your membership, and you authorise us to do the same.​If you are making a payment through PayPal there may be $1 charged to your card. This small charge is used by PayPal to verify you. This charge is refunded within 30 days and should reflect as a credit on your monthly statement. You will receive an email with the details about the services.​1.4.2. Currency​The currency in which you will be billed will be stated during the purchase process and is determined based on your billing address.​1.5. Unpaid Charges​If your credit card expires or your payment method is otherwise invalid, your membership will not automatically be terminated. You will remain responsible for all charges.​1.6. Promotions​We may occasionally offer promotions. The specific terms of each promotion are stated at the time the promotion is offered. Each promotion may be different. You will continue to have the same access and benefits of your product for the remainder of the current billing period.​We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future.​Annual Membership​Cancellation will not take effect until the end of your current billing period. Your membership will continue to the end of the current billing period, and you will not receive a refund.​We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion.
