Welcome to Humans of Cinema! Here, we don’t simply label films as “good” or “bad”. We don’t grade films like they are appearing for an exam. Instead, we focus on the art of watching. We don’t write to give the final verdict on films. We write to keep the cameras and conversations rolling.

The goal is to inspire and equip our readers to watch a film with passion, patience and an open mind. If you let cinema hold your hand, it will show you the world - its people, its history, its power and its folly. And at the end of that journey, it will turn your gaze inwards and show you yourself.
